August 11, 2016 – The journey kept rolling as Francis took his talents to Colorado, headquarters of iN2L. His morning started with a reflective stop by North Star, a Vivage community with a heart of gold, run by Marcia Brenowitz. Marcia has dedicated her life to helping people that are often forgotten, people wit
h souls and spirits as high as the Rockies themselves.
Francis’ tour was coordinated by one of the soul sisters of culture change, Nancy Fox. Nancy has been a friend of iN2L for over 10 years. She was the first recipient of the Tom York lifetime achievement award and a friend of mine for longer than that. Francis was touched by the $53 that the North Star residents proudly gave.
The afternoon was all about iN2L. The staff held a barbecue in his honor and afterwards he brought us to tears with the stories of the lives he’s changed. He presented Michael Gardner (our tech man extraordinaire and driver through the Southwest) with an African warrior wood carving. We all walked away inspired. Francis got a quick trip into a cockpit at a local airport, thanks to Laura Archer. That is another thing he has to figure out how to describe back home to his
wife and five kids.
We had a late flight to Baltimore and arrived in Washington DC around four in the morning. But we are ready to take on Leading Age and Integrace tomorrow. Lets get ready to rumble!
