Project: VITAL (Virtual Inclusive Technology for All) is a pilot program that uses technology to mitigate symptoms of social isolation for residents in assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
It is a partnership between the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, the Alzheimer’s Association and others to distribute senior-friendly tablets to assisted living facilities and nursing homes to connect seniors to family members and relieve feelings of isolation during the pandemic.
